I started making "New Week's Resolutions" for a few reasons. For one thing, it's incredibly freeing to be able to start over whenever you want, not just once a year. In addition, it is much easier to decide to do something for a week than it is to do it for a year or "forever."
So with this in mind, I have begun making a short list of resolutions in my blog every Monday to help keep me motivated and focused on the week ahead. I find that it has really worked. Even if I don't keep everything to the letter, it gives me a basis from which to work, and lets me remind myself of my intentions whenever I need to.
