Got to 5000! Yay! Still writing, of course.

So apparently they'd go to pay this "morning" call between three and four pm, because they don't know the girl. If they DID know her, it would be even later. And still called a "morning call." Weird!

Well, maybe I'm going to research before I write... I need to figure out how Louisa would go about paying a call on someone.

I now have Excel and one of those nifty little report card thingies! Fun! Okay, going to write some more. The movie was good, by the way.

I wrote a little more off and on this morning while doing some research and stuff. Another 386 words, so I'm up to 4868. Almost 5000! This afternoon we're going to see Tuck Everlasting. It's exciting, because I haven't been to a movie in forever... I think the last one I saw in the theater was the most recent Star Wars!
By the way, I've decided to just update the word count page once a day, because otherwise the "days left" and stuff gets all confused. I'll also probably write a longer blog entry when I've finished writing each day.

I made it! I wrote 1051 words, so I'm up to 4482. Now I can have breakfast! Then I'll probably go do some other stuff--dishes and cleaning and such--and write more later.

Good morning! I sorta wanted to sleep late but the kitten had other ideas. Now I'm going to try to write a thousand words before breakfast. (I'm thirsty, though, so I may make some coffee first.)

I wrote 2236 at Borders tonight, so I'm now up to 3431! Yay! That means I met tomorrow's minimum already. I think my goal for tomorrow will be at least 5000, preferably 6000. I'm taking the rest of the evening off to watch Star Trek and stuff.
Oh, and I got a book called Jane Austen's Christmas for research. It looks like lots of fun!

Well, I just wrote 190 words this afternoon, but I got a lot of other stuff done so it's okay. Look around the site--I updated most of it. Anyway. I'm up to 1195 now! We're going to Borders now, so I'll give my final count for the day when I get back. Plan to be writing there for quite a while--should be good!

Okay, home from work--it's the weekend! I have very little planned this weekend, so lots of writing time! This afternoon, I will be writing while heavily multitasking--finishing an article, updating this site, and watching a movie. Should be fun, I just hope I can get enough done on all that. The article is the thing that should really be my priority at the moment.
Tonight we have a writing meeting at Borders, and then the open mike there after that, so I'll write during that too. Oooh and I can get a Mochaberry!!

This morning while I was eating breakfast and such I wrote another 214 words, so I am now at 1005. My goal was to get over 1000 before work. So I did it! Yay!

Okay, I wrote for about an hour (while doing other things) and got to 791. Not bad for so late at night. I really like how it's going! I wrote a letter from my main character's sister (the main character receives it in the first chapter) and I really feel like I'm getting to know Lizzie (the sister) better by doing that.
I'd better go to bed, though, since I have to be at work at eight. Tomorrow I'll make the word count page and update other parts of the site, including a chart showing the word counts of several of my friends. If I know you :-) let me know if you want to be on that. (Aishy?) Or if I don't know you and you want to for some reason. I'm limiting it to just a few people, though--so far there are four including me.
Well not really. But sorta. Heh.

We had our kick-off party yesterday. Fun fun!
I have most of my plot planned out and can't wait to start. Friday Friday Friday! I know I'm going to be sooo excited all day Thursday, waiting for midnight...
My new big idea is to have people dress up as their characters for the TGIO party. So I am sewing a ball gown and cloak and knitting a shawl. Heeheehee. Like I don't have enough to do next month, right?
